Joanna cut/color
suzanna gradient
Suzanna wanted a gradient in her ends and she wanted to leave her natural color at the roots.
Redken shades to tone 7g/7v
horseshoe parting
He actually had me take a picture because he thought it was so funny to see his hair like this. This is a parting that I like to use a lot when I want to focus on the sides and disconnect the top. The horseshoe allows me to see where the sides lay and avoid any cowlicks in the front or on the crown.
Perm on model
after I had so much fun practicing perms on doll heads I wanted to try it on a model. This is a slightly brushed out perm, with a fishtail braid down her left side.
#3
Here James is transitioning from longer to shorter hair. I kept the top longer, and rounded the sides. He parts it everyday.
#2
Eric has very curly hair. I took it shorter on his sides and longer on top and down the back, middle. I cut a square on top, and diagonally blended the sides to meet it.
#1
this was one of the first haircuts I ever did. I cut his curly hair into a graduated square shape so it was boxy on top. Very 80s, Which is what I was going for. He was still able to part it conservatively as I made sure to balance and blend the top square shape to his sides.
